The Story
Completed in 2025, the Biarritz residence sits on the clifftop above Côte des Basques — designed as a place to arrive on Friday evening and leave reluctantly on Sunday. A house that makes the transition from city to coast feel immediate and complete.
Reinforced concrete and locally sourced Basque stone anchor the building into the cliff. The mass is deliberate — a counterweight to the openness of the glazing, which runs floor-to-ceiling across the entire Atlantic facade. Inside, natural oak and custom furnishings keep the palette warm against the grey of the water and sky.
The programme is simple: three bedrooms, a single open living space, and a terrace that makes the ocean feel close enough to touch. Nothing that requires maintenance on a weekend. Everything that makes you want to come back.
